Workshop Objectives:
Upon completion of this workshop, participants should be
able to -

Describe
the steps required to critically appraise original research studies

Describe
the process used to collect and extract data from reports of original
studies
-
Enter and
analyze data for a systematic review using the Cochrane Collaboration's
RevMan software
-
Analyze,
present, and interpret results of meta-analyses
-
Identify
and resolve questions and challenges encountered during the completion
of a Cochrane systematic review
Who should attend:
Although designed for individuals who have published a protocol
(or have a protocol approved for publication) in The Cochrane Library,
the workshop is also open to those developing a title or preparing a
protocol with a Cochrane Review Group.
Those interested in learning more about
systematic reviews will be accepted if space permits.

Cancellation Fees:
Cancellation fees are based on the number of calendar days before
the start of the workshop and are assessed as follows:
- 14 to 8 days: 50% of registration fee (50%
refunded)
- 7 days or less: 100% of registration fee (0%
refunded)

* This workshop fee will be
refunded upon submission of a Cochrane Systematic Review within 18
months of workshop attendance.
